slit wrists much?

friday-- was a soggy trip to the city to eat at holy basil 149 2nd ave near 10th st 212.460.5557 the spot just happened to be next to 16 handles so we all had gigantic cups of creations! then we walked to whisky town bar 29 east 3rd st. bet 2nd and bowery 212.505.7344 love this spot! and my friend justin and his brother opened it. its a great spot to start (or end the night at). dancing on table is encouraged and there is a great bathroom setup so you're never waitin' in line.

saturday i grabbed breakfast at catherines caffe on dekalb (yum) and off to bed bath and beyond for a shopping extravaganza. then to ikea w liz! wow those 2 places in one day? i just realized
why i have felt "off" the past 2 days those 2 spots are a panic attack waiting to happen. we purchased outside furniture that is now inside and we had a great spaghetti dinner w some good friends at casa de serkin-fong.

sunday someone special made me a fantastic breakfast complete w peanut butter and
banana toast. and then we saw 'the soloist' w jamie foxx and robert downey. now i have to say, i am not/ was not a jamie fan, mainly bc i think he's an arrogant mofo; but this movie turned me into a believer. jamie's performance was simply amazing. i was chocking back tears the entire movie (yes they finally came out) but it was bc it's one of those touching amazing and true stories that makes you feel so good about people (for a second) that you are emotional enough to just want to weep.

later i made a spinach artichoke dip from scratch! i was quite proud of that! then, like a moron-i choked and finally watched 'marley and me' w jenn aniston and owen wilson. on top of these two tear jerkers it was pouring rain allll day. i should have been on suicide watch.... OH-how could i forget the dessert i "made"? ice cream sundae's consisting of: ben and jerry's "light" choc chip cookie dough, cool whip, m&m's and a monster cookie from provisions market 753 fulton street (between elliot and oxford) 718.233.2700 this cookie has it all (oatmeal, peanut butter, choc chips, etc.).

mmmmm
