need spa

i am the LAST person you'll catch at a "spa" or getting a massage. BUT i do love spa castle in QUEENS bc its super weird and ghetto and not stuffy or snobbish. there's a ton of saunas, FOOD, drinks, places to lie, pools to get in (winter and sumer). if liz bothered to read my blog she'd see this pic i posted of our last vizzy to spa castle (murahahah) on x mas day! we got face masks and sauna'd it up all day. here's the link to the castle:

crazy work!

been a wee bit busy and NUTs at work. like it cause the day goes quick- hate it cause i have dreams about work! yesterday was also a lost day bc we spent it in a team meeting allll day. at least i got to name our team and co captain it w kavita. we were the real housewives of whitestone complete w props including the dingy parking lots cats we care for here in the stone!

in other news it was SO nice to come home to a made up bed :) sadly- it was made better than i make it sometimes. mr b even had his own spot! this made my evening after a stressful redic monday!

if ever i have kids...

dinner last night!

someone (whom i fancy quite a lot) made some seriously fine pasta for me last nite. also the first time that the half banana house kitchen was used! one of the best meals i've ever had. :)

hallmark "holidays" irritate me and this one especially. i barf on valentines day BUT i am a softee at heart so i do have a valentine :) i just tend to think that you should always show someone you care! not just on one day of the year. see... i am cheese ball!

Maybe you remember Steve Burns—a.k.a. “the Blues CluesBachelor”—from New York’s Home Design issue this past October. Well, Steve sent me an intriguing e-mail last week with pictures of a new “‘guesthouse” that he’d installed in the courtyard of his Eric Liftin–designed home in Williamsburg. He said he wanted to post a real-estate listing on it: “Charming alcove studio, steps from L train. Cutting-edge green construction, locally sourced material, a MUST SEE! $1,100/month.” The only catch, as you can see here: the “house” is an igloo.
