just in time (or i may have gone mad). when your job is in the "managing" family its exhausting to get anything done for yourself or herd your own damn cats.... praise ye lord for the long weekend.

This faaaaace! i cant get enough. we had the pleasure this weekend to dine at the skinner's home and for an added bonus - med, karen and the kids (tyler and moochi) came. wahtta night. 

 as per usual ended up running into the am, where we crashed like vagabonds and skipped off to IHOP in the morn! i am kind of falling for long island - not gonna lie. i even got chris to come to tj maxx, grab new swimsuits and take an unplanned trip to long beach!??!

the NEW la nonna is great! LA NONNA ON KENT AVE (phew). i shared the kale salad and shishito peppers with someone special and had a chicken special that was special indeed. just like the good ole flavors from the bedford spot where i fell in love with nonna and its great staff.

i was scared to try it for fear that it had gotten too big for its britches, but based on my service and the meal - seems the family is still running it like pros. am still very sad that the original on bedford will cease to exist - thanks again money grubbing soul sucking landlords :)
