charlie st cloud is a good movie- fuckers
my entire fam and cc refused to watch charlie st cloud w me so i finally go to watch it all snuggled in my bed last night. its great. the efron kid may be a bother in all other things but i now deem him a decent actor. the scenery of the film and all the actors are pretty damn heart warming! do yourself a favor and don't be a pussy that's just scared to cry (we all know that's why no one wanted to watch this w me). man up! of course i cried (i cried in free willy) but its a feel good beautiful movie.
in other reviews- i watched salt on the flight to sd. that also is an awesome action flick and who can o wrong w angelina in an "i'm a badass" role? good twists and espionage and conspiracy shit! watch it.

a la jolla thanksgiving!
always FUN [and hectic] times when the serkin fam gathers for an occasion! the tradition is becoming: cram into the la jolla blvd joint for turkey day and for 4th of july. this year we were cranium obsessed and in tears laughing at the various members of the clan try to play the game (DAD). jeeez... people are funny when playing charades, humming tunes and drawing pics w their eyes closed- esp if your related to them! good times! the pic above is dad playing dead to get us to guess the show "deadliest catch" HA!
we visited hodad's in o.b (duh) and yours truly had a DOUBLE chee burg and a basket of frings (onion ring and fries mixed- brilliant).... hodad's also happens to be on the corner of the street i will one day live on! (see above)

why oh why did i not take photos and document my night out at the 2 best gay clubs in sd??! sandy took me and liz out for the time of our lives with drag fashion shows to boot. it was a mess!
getting hime this sunday was FUN. 10:23 red eye w a connection in washington that was CANCELLED when i landed at 6am. i was re routed to a delta flight that i had to sprint to (remember its 6am and i am sleepy and pissed from my packed previous flight where i had a MIDDLE SEAT). now my bag is chillin at LGA and i have to stop in for an 8am visit tomorrow before work! fun times! things could be worse and i'm super thankful for my redic family and getting to be with all of em!
a day to chill and decompress was much needed and after getting in at 7:30 and sleeping most of the day i am almost back to normal! only stink is- is that my partner in bad eating and sunday night crimes is not here. will have to order tons of bad delivery and watch hbo by myself this sunday. :(

CAAAAAAKE
last night before dexter and boardwalk cc and i made a boston cream pie (i call it cake because it IS cake). i must say it was fun and i also must say i think chris is a better baker than i :( i know i would have royally effed it up if not for him. go team! and ummm this thing is TASTY! it may look a bit uh... gnarley in the pic above but my whole office will agree is tastes lovely when they have a slice! enjoy....

boston fb fan shoot! my fav is my baby car seat pic. conor and lisa were my parents on this work voyage! i had tantrums for taco bell, demanded an animal hat and ate toooo much at abe and louies and got a tummy ache.... OH and that's yours truly in that vitaminwater bottle suit!

"different" kind of vaca...
these spots look AWESOME. i am always down for the tropical lay on the beach and by a (all inclusive) resort pool all day type of getaways! but these spots look really neat and different. some are a NO WAY- others i'd book in a hartbeat! i need to give the site/article a full reading but am busy at work today so... this is a quickie!

started watching scott pilgrim vs the world and...
its rad. i really like the way it was done and the characters play off of one another really well. i always tend to love m cera and esp any culkin kid! the graphics are fun and the story is quite cute and amusing. now i just need to finish watching it.

people are great!
thanks to v and liz i had a surprise b day pickle back debacle at whisky brooklyn (or brooklyn whisky?). fun times and people are extra sweet bc i know it takes a lot to organize and come out on a MONDAY night after halloween weekend! xxx's to everyone that made it happen! i got homemade cards, a cake (x2!), and lots of hugs. it was a great 21st b day!!! ;) sadly i have no pics of last night. just fond fond memories! makes me smile.
