unplug brain please...

didn't get a WINK of sleep and not sure how i'll manage today. partly bc of my brain working (and thinking- yikes) to it's max but also bc eek has some serious issues (make that 2 of us) and will not sleep or stop screaming! my cat doesn't meow... it talks, and loud! unreal! at least it's not an evil kitty like some i know (ROXY). but every cat and every person is entitled to their stance on life and humans. my head feels like the brain... frm one of my fav's pinky and the brain.

need i say anything at all!!???!

food, food, food and more... food and stuff

the question is where did i NOT go this weekend. with a semi cold hanging on i took er' easy friday night and had dinner at habitat w liz and fuss. delish as usual!

saturay was filled w errands and bedford and bar hops and food galore! the hoppin' started w our nashville native friend david (who i now fully trust on all food recommendations and may go as far as to say i am completely impressed and will spread the good word to a select few that are lucky enough- aka the 5 readers of chilibowl) at walter foods in bklyn 253 Grand Street, Williamsburg Brooklyn (between Grand and Roebling) 718.387.8783 YUMMM on a crab dip a whisky and waiting for luss (liz and russ- i just now coined tht term as they are much like any of the other ridiculous couple w fuzed names: brangelina, tomkat, bennifer etc. what a load of crap that we live in this world and that some of you may even know who/what i am talking abt....) anyhoo, next was mercat negre 65 grand (between kent and wythe) 347.223.4599-- which was also amazing (if you're lucky they'll have the beef spare ribs and eggplant on special) and def have the homemade potato chips or you'll be sorrrrry. this was all followed by aurora 70 Grand Street, Brooklyn NY 11211 (at Wythe Avenue) 718.388.5100 (acorss the street) where luss finally made an appearance and a fancy italian beer was had.

think i'm done? oh no. we also attended a very "different" type of warehouse party where the dj was spinning some cool dub and there was also live music by some japanese sound... something. very "brooklyn" if you will...

sunday was brunch at bklyn label which has now fully redeemed itself with me! eggs benedict and a side of bacon were perfection as was the stumptown coffee which always induces a full day of hyper/sleepy spells (??) but none the less i heart stumptown coffee. got liz addicted to bubble tea on bedford (saint alps) and also braved the city and got FRONT SPOT parking at BBB and container store w liz! as well as watched an awesome hockey game!

wow! what else is there to report? DBGB maybe and the trailer park coming to a blog that no one reads soon!

i'm getting super lazy these days w posting! but last night i didn't do much and was feelin a abit under the weather. one day its sunny and 70 then next rain and barf. feel a cold coming but will fight it off. on a complete side note pandora is playing 'here comes your man' by the pixies and i will forever think of kareoke w liz and (whoever else was on stage) at cannon's going away... awh.

sunny weekend

how do you know when you had a good friday night?? bc liz barfed all saturday morning! ;) friday i went to nurse betties for the first time (norfolk near delancy) and saw miko's fabulous apt (right across the street) and made it to sway when we thought we were gonna go home. lemme tell you abt sway. it's a club for 21 yr olds that wear skimpy clothes or blazers and have way too much of mommy and daddy's $ to spend. BUT when your drunk and ready to dance-- it's aiiight for an hour or 2. just watch out for the bouncers- they will kick you down off the banquet AND will kick out boys that slap waitresses on the arse!

saturday and sunday were beautiful and filled w errands and shopping and spending a bit too much on some jeans and a bag etc. but hey- it's springtime....

i got nuthin'. stayed in and behaved thyself rather than go drinking w the office and others for st pattys. BUT that's bc i am saving energy for the WEEKEND. will be damned if i don't go dancin' w jen and guzman (and a handful of others). haven't seen the ole rpm crew in a while and need to have a dancing on speakers/banquets kind of night! oh- i did get into some trouble last night on fb- proposed to bryan greenberg on his page??! what's wrong w me? not sure but hey, ya never know....

ok, something in the "stars" is testing my o.c.d. yesterday's morning meeting (and some other antics which will remain nameless) made the day a complete wash. today my craziness was tested when conor neglected to tell me he was not coming w carpool today- made me late, there was a truck stopped on the bridge (extra late) AND i nearly had a break down when i realized that yesterday's removal of smartwater 1 liters from the fridge was not just a one day thing but permanent! i went down to storage and promptly removed a case to take upstairs! UNacceptable!! freak attack.

9am meeting (til about 12:24pm) throw the whole day off. we had a huge team meet at the beautiful laguardia mariott to intro a new head honcho to the glaceau team and while he's actually pretty awesome my whole day is kinda "off" frm not following usual morning routine! am i this... o.c.d?

can this city try maybe just a little to cover/pave the vast amount of potholes!??! it's infuriating. sick of calling 311, these a-holes know the streets suck and they don't care partly bc i'd imagine they have contracts w the auto services of the city as well- since it keeps them in biz. as much as i love this place... venting.

after beers w friends last nite at dressler-i ventured home and started watching 'how to make it in america' last night. marky mark (minus the funky bunch) has done it again) and i am in love with the lead actor bryan greenberg. simply obsessed. sunday will be a good tv night again- the show is pretty good too! the sound track- amazing.

things i learned this weekend

i can put air in my tires, i like assisting on photo shoots, i am as in love w p-n-t (pies and thighs) as ever, and good or bad, people will always find a way to surprise you...

as an fyi- i had a FAT bacon cheese burger w fries from pies last night (to drool for) same ole greasy goodness as usual and same menu for the most part (phew). same cute ladies on staff and the space is fitting and cozy. yay!

this is basically the equivalent to passing (or leaving someone a note) that says do "you like me check yes or no" or otherwise. this is funny to me bc bored at work yesterday i played a lil joke and did just that- on a post it note and stuck it to my designers computer to see how long it takes him to find it (it's mixed in w a few of his reminder notes). oh but i also left a "call me" sign off w a dudes extension number. murhahaha. can you say SLOW day yesterday!??!

i swear you'd think i almost died the way i am angered over my finger which i sliced open on a butcher knife doin' something STUPID. i am so o.c.d that i had to remove a sticker off of packaging and i ended up almost removing my finger! whine whine whine... but i was a deep cut and i am just ANNOYED at having limited usage of my left hand! i despise being impaired in any way. try washing your hair, drying your hair, doin dishes, making the bed etc. it sucks! :( booo hooo. vanessa was my nurse and thanks to her and liz i still have my apendage! also thanks to conors x mas gift i had bacon band aid's!!
