in the past few days i have seen the new bond flickquantum of solace (such a fancy name for a mediocre film) and wall-e. i can't decide about these 2 movies. don't get me wrong there are much worse things than staring at daniel craig for a couple of hours (mmmm mmmm) but the overall feeling i left with wasn't one that i usually have when leaving a really great action movie. if i really was into it i would have left the theatre all psyched and in the mood to look into espionage as a career and would have been ducking around each corner in brooklyn with my imaginary gun (fingers). there were a couple of good scenes -my fav was in the beginning where hottie mc-hotpants is chasing some dude and they end up in a church that's being restored. lots of cool jumps and slamming into scaffolding.... not enough cool bond-esque toys.
as for wall-e. well i don't know what to say... maybe i was SUPER stoney but it freaked me out! i don't wanna spoil it for anyone but there are both humans and bots in this and its cute and has a good message in the end. the animation is amazing and you of course fall for wall-e by the end bc he's so cute! (how can they make a robot so cute!??) damn you pixar!!
