what else would i share w all of you besides food options!? here is another very special little spot that's decor and food aim to impress. called locanda vini & olii (129 gates ave 718.622.9202) don't ask for my translation (something about wine and oil i think??) but my own made up translation is delicious, unique and romantic ;) eclectic menu with the coolest squid (and something) appetizer i've certainly ever had! check it out! the sign out front is an old drug store "lewis drugs" (i think) and the decor looks like a soda shop right out of willy wonka (the good one not the garbage that depp did!) old original wood, medicine cabinents, and the soda bar are all still there!
