camp grandpa fork

just returned form the weekend of amazing camping at cedar point campgrounds in the hamptons (yes we camp fancy). and fancy wasn't the word for the small town we [the boys] erected! we had 2 grill/stoves, a FOOD/alcohol tent, a condo (that v and i were evicted from first night), and about 5/6 other small giggle pods that kept us all warm and safe for the night.

v and i arrived w a pizza pie in hand around 8pm friday (thanks for getting us there tink) and watched as skinner, chad and med set up village! it was pretty amazing. we soon had fresh margaritas (* the grounds are "alcohol free" so you need to be discreet- i was first to get yelled at for this) enough snacks to feed the entire park of approx. 50+ families and my famous chili! i was told it was good, but what are people supposed to say when they eat your food right in front of you?? also had burgers and chips, salad, and when i tell you i've never seen so many s'mores eaten and s'more paraphernalia (lisa kim was the genius dictator that brought grandpa forks to camp- tiny metal 2 pronged tools that affix perfectly to the end of a good stick). grandpa's fork cooked many a s'mores and hot dogs throughout the weekend. in other amazing inventions i have created the "serk board" and as soon as i figure out how to sell a foot long by half foot wide piece of cardboard its off to my yacht and personal plane. i had this thing the whole time and became anxious when i couldn't find it. it does the following: protects eyes for terribly smokey wet wood, hold your drink/camera etc in your lap, is a lid for your drink so bugs don't try to gank your fanta, protective polite barrier when smoking and someone next to you doesn't, floor board for v's car so she could take the extra boca burgers home and not have soggy floor boards from the bottom of the wet box. there are a dozen and one other uses but i don't need anyone stealing my idea!

i enjoy long walks on the beach -and had one w v. i also shared a moment in the sunset with colin b from ammariti whilst taking the smart car to pick up fire wood. many a joke and korean folklore (teddy) were told, MANY s'mores were eaten (along with last nights chicken and rib dinner complete w marinated asparagus and eggplant) many embarrassing stories told, many soggy pillows and socks, smokey hair that wont stop smelling til at least a few more showers, and all around good times!!
