last night liz and i had 2 dinners at caracas (don't ask) :) 291 grand street (bet havemeyer and roebling) 718.218.6050 it was on par as usual-- the lack of veggie chicken soup perturbed me- last nights was butternut squash-blah. i had the chicken salad arepa which is chicken salad blended w avocado on a perfectly toasty arepa (mix of an english muffin and corn cake) anyhoodles the food was good and the convo was as well, since we rehashed the "breaking the seal" incident from saturday night (liz's misunderstanding of an otherwise very common saying). later i watched wanda sykes' newest stand up and found it quite hilarious. i dig her voice and flection- she's so excited an into her stories (similar to chris rocks enthusiasm). i am also SUPER pumped to have found out that robin williams will be airing a new stand up routine in december on hbo!tuesday.
