Sunday Sept 7 was BLOCK BUST! i couldn't be more proud of my man and the company he formed with his buds - Pocket Storms. These gents are talented. If I were smart i'd quit selling branded entertaimnets for tv and become their manager!

This faaaaace! i cant get enough. we had the pleasure this weekend to dine at the skinner's home and for an added bonus - med, karen and the kids (tyler and moochi) came. wahtta night. 

 as per usual ended up running into the am, where we crashed like vagabonds and skipped off to IHOP in the morn! i am kind of falling for long island - not gonna lie. i even got chris to come to tj maxx, grab new swimsuits and take an unplanned trip to long beach!??!

the NEW la nonna is great! LA NONNA ON KENT AVE (phew). i shared the kale salad and shishito peppers with someone special and had a chicken special that was special indeed. just like the good ole flavors from the bedford spot where i fell in love with nonna and its great staff.

i was scared to try it for fear that it had gotten too big for its britches, but based on my service and the meal - seems the family is still running it like pros. am still very sad that the original on bedford will cease to exist - thanks again money grubbing soul sucking landlords :)

its been soooo long since i've kept up with the blog diary.

there have been so many restaurants that have popped up in the past 6 months that i fear for my rent and general stability. will start to review some soon along with a series of CHEESE. My recent obsession (i can thank Chris for this i think) is overtaking me and my thoughts to the point of considering opening my own shop. more to come....

fresh off da boat (literally) from an epic cruise vacation and i can't tell you how the land sickness is driving me nuts!! bc we were in motion (and lots of it) on the high seas for a week straight, now on land everything is still moving! my brain feel like its jubbling around in my head (waaay more than usual :) and there's the dizzies! good times. but was well worth it. i had so much fun w cap'n cip!

the most i spent the whole trip - glamor shots that were available every day and night on the boat. i've spared you from most of them in the this post but a few had to make the cut.

SLAM ALLEN was this gentleman's name. this man made my cruise! by far the best and most fun entertainment on the whole boat. he was a fantastic jazz musician and HILARIOUS to boot, i almost ran away with him. (bonus pts bc he made chris serenade me on the mic :)
